What is a Home? What is the difference between a house and a home?

A house is a structure, a home is a feeling.

A house is just a shelter, but a home is a place you live, and its meaningful.

A home is where someone resides and feels comfortable.

Home is where your heart is. A house is where you live.

A home is a place of refuge, a source of privacy, comfort, shelter, pride, and community.

A house is a material thing while a home is close to the soul.

A house is a structure. A home is a concept. Houses are physically built, homes are mentally built.

You can have multiple homes, because often when you refer to something as a second home you are saying you spend time and feel comfortable there.

Home is where you are always welcome.

A home is a place you feel safe and loved.

You may live somewhere, but that doesn’t make it a home. You need love to make it that.

A home is somewhere you feel most safe, and where people love you no matter what, and you love them back.

A house is made of wood, nails, maybe brick. But I do not only live in a house, I live in a home.

Home is something of sentimental value where someone lives.

A house offers shelter but a home offers something you can look forward to coming back to.

A house is not necessarily a home, and a home doesn’t have to be a house.

A home is a permanent residence.

A home is where someone feels safe and loved. It’s where you can run to when you have nothing else.

A home is a place where the environment is very predictable.

A home is where you belong.
